17th July 2013.
Its the first time in my life I'm using this blog as a personal diary and writing things that I usually end up writing in my diary.
Its not daily that I write a blog or even my diary in that case. Its quite rare I do that. Certain situations, certain days when I fall a little low on 'hope' or just blah. Whatever. ;)
I now understand, what Mum must be going through working 8 hours for a day and travelling back home which includes all the free gifts provided by your boss to ruin your day even more. And when I come home from office, I can't even move my ass from the bed. I get so tired. Don't feel like doing anything. Seems like Mum is no ordinary being, she's a Super Mom who works as well as cleans as well as cooks and gee! What not!
Just finished watching the last episode of Band of Brothers.
TWO THINGS which will never change for me.
First, the movie 'Into The Wild' which depicts life of Christopher Mccandless aka Alexander Supertramp. This movie gets me crazy! Turns me into the one thing I want to be. This movie gives me the adrenalin rush. It inspires me to do what I want in every single step. No other movie can ever match this level for me. NEVER! My favourite movie? INTO THE WILD!!!!
Thanks to Aashay, who suggested me to watch it. After watching this movie, I did a little bit of googling to find more about Christopher Mccandless and I came across many many many negative comments for him. People have their own set of mind, own point of view. So yeah, trying to argue or tag them wrong will be foolish on my part. Christopher Mccandless inspires me to a great extent. I just can't express my thoughts or put it in words, its a different feeling.
There are so many movies, stories, novels, news flashes, real life experiences that we come across in every step of our life. So yeah, basically the process of learning never ends. Maybe its just for a while, or maybe for a lifetime that we actually absorb certain things. But learning is till you die. I don't know what is going to happen the next minute and I'm not at all a person who plans things but I have certain list which I would like to fulfill, if by God's grace I don't die early. LOL
As I already told the first of two, the Second one is the series 'Band Of Brothers' .
Those men who have faced war, must've been really BRAVE. Whenever I see that series, it gives me goosebumps. Those times, during WW-I and WW-II .........innocent people losing their lives, young soldiers leaving their families and devoting their life to their country.
We are really very lucky to be living in peace and enjoying our lives with no guns on our heads or the constant fear of losing your loved one or the guilt of seeing your people die in front of you, you being of no help.
Things happen. Sometimes of you knowing and sometimes unpredictably. It may come as a surprise, or even as a distress. Those are the situations you ought not to lose your mind.
We get so convoluted with our own small problems, that we forget how blessed we are.
We forget those people around us whom we see daily in a way or another suffering with innumerable problems. Those lying on the railway platforms begging for a penny with their arms or limbs cut off or eyes burnt. Those small little kids who lose their innocence and don't even have a childhood worth remembering. Those who lose their loved one's. Those who don't get to see the sunrise, those who are lying in hospitals. What are we crying over for? Crying for not getting cellphone of our choice? Crying for a new vehicle? Crying for a new guitar?
Forget all your pain and SMILE. Find no reason to SMILE.
